Just a stone’s throw from the Arc de Triomphe and the Champs-Elysées, in the elegant shopping district of the Place des Ternes, Monsieur Madame offers its visitors a unique kind of space, with plenty to discover and no end of surprises.
As soon as you walk inside, the majestic solid wood door sets the tone for the bar area. The imposing carved wood bar – an exact replica of a period Philadelphia piece – takes you back to the time of the Speakeasies of the Prohibition. Warm textures, deep blues, bronzes, Chesterfield sofas, a semi-private lounge area: each and every detail helps create an elegant and comfortable atmosphere that invites guests to stop for a coffee or enjoy a cocktail.
The beautifully designed fluid and airy restaurant area on the ground floor seats up to two hundred gourmet guests and offers modern and sophisticated, light and delicious lunches and dinners. The wide variety of dishes and menus – always fresh, and new with each season – are created and prepared daily by our chef Benjamin Boulot.
The perfectly sited terrace in itself holds the promise of lunches in the sun: its retractable roof creates a well of natural light that both surrounds and shines down on the restaurant guests.
The large central staircase rises in a majestic spiral towards a completely different area. Upstairs you can enjoy a view of the Former Magasins Réunis. The innovative concept store ‘Monsieur Madame – La Boutique’, boasts a unique, personalised selection of decorative items and articles: the perfect place for all lovers of fine things looking for functional and original gifts.
Yet more surprises are in store for those who explore the basement. Visitors to the finely polished Art Deco ‘premium lounge’ can enjoy the muted atmosphere of the roaring twenties. The wall hangings, the fresco, and the velvet armchairs create an intimate atmosphere, conducive to relaxation and conversation. The passage to the right reveals unexpected perspectives, as you see the wine and spirits cellar under its glass ceiling. Behind the looking glass?
There’s always time to wander round looking for something useful yet exquisite for friends (or indeed for yourself) as you discover the basement area of the Monsieur Madame concept store, indissociable from the first floor boutique.
Our chef Benjamin Boulot calls on all his experience, talent and creativity to please your palate.
Our dishes are exclusive creations prepared to order by Benjamin and his team. Our dishes of the day are made up daily according to what’s in season or on the market stalls.
Our cuisine is modern, refined, light and delicious. Your satisfaction is paramount, which is why we set great store by the quality of our products and our meals.
